This award recognises a partner (or partner equivalent) who has gone to great lengths to ensure their clients favourable outcomes in often immensely personal cases. It includes criminal partners who have advised on criminal matters of all kinds, including, but not limited to, theft, fraud, infringement warrants, speeding and breach of court orders. It is open to any partner (or partner equivalent) within a private practice firm who works primarily in criminal law. To be eligible for this award, the partner must reveal how he/she has effectively achieved successful outcomes in criminal law cases in the 12 months from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.
