This award recognises a partner (or partner equivalent) who has navigated their client through complex relationships and emotionally charged situations. It includes family law partners who have advised clients on family law matters, including, but not limited to, divorce, surrogacy, adoption, domestic violence and missing children. It is open to any partner (or partner equivalent) within a private practice firm who works primarily in family law. To be eligible for this award, the partner must actively demonstrate how he/she has successfully advised clients on tricky legal circumstances in the 12 months from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.
