This award recognises a partner (or partner equivalent) who has managed to uphold a proactive service offering in the high-stakes government practice area. It includes government partners who have led the charge or provided assistance on acting in government transactions. It is open to any partner (or partner equivalent) within a private practice firm who works primarily in government law. To be eligible for this award, the partner must successfully define how he/she has made a significant impact on both their chosen firm and the public in this line of work in the 12 months from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.
