The legal profession has long-supported the wider community through pro bono work, demonstrating a commitment to ensuring all members of society have access to legal representation. This award recognises individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to the community over FY2016 via at least one significant pro bono initiative. It is open to all in-house and private practice female lawyers.
Nominees will be judged on their responses to the following:
- Detail the strategy behind a particular pro bono program that you were involved in during the past 12 months.
- What has been the community and social impact of the program? Include the number of pro bono hours contributed and any other measurable outcomes.
- How do you help promote a strong pro bono culture within your firm/ company?
