The first few years of legal practice are critical to the future success of a lawyer. Those who demonstrate potential can fast-track their rise through the ranks. This award recognises outstanding performance by an individual who has recently commenced her legal career. It is open to female lawyers under the age of 30 (effective end FY2016) who are within their first three years of practice (effective end FY2016) below the senior associate level.
Nominees will be judged on their responses to the following:
- Detail outstanding work over FY2016 that sets you apart from other lawyers of similar experience?
- How has this work benefited your practice group, your firm and your clients?
- Provide examples of leadership at work and/or in your community.
