Slaters principal departs for new role

A former family law principal for Slater and Gordon Penrith has left the firm to join another in Western Sydney.

A former family law principal for Slater and Gordon Penrith has left the firm to join another in Western Sydney.

Adam West has been welcomed to Coleman Greig Lawyers as a principal within the firm’s family law practice.

Mr West began his new role on 1 March, bringing with him more than a decade of experience in family law matters.

Throughout his career, Mr West has specialised in property disputes, parenting arrangements and recovery applications. He has extensive experience in advising clients across a variety of jurisdictions including the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court, the local, district and supreme courts of New South Wales, and the Social Security Appeals Tribunal.

In his new role, Mr West will work out of Colman Greig’s two offices in Parramatta-CBD and Norwest Business Park.

Colman Greig chief executive officer Warrick McLean congratulated Mr West on his new role, saying his appointment comes at an exciting time for the firm.

“Adam’s skills and expertise enable us to continue developing this rapidly expanding practice area,” Mr McLean said.

“His reputation within the community and professional yet empathetic approach with clients is a real asset to the firm, and we look forward to Adam complementing the existing talent within our team.”
