Aaron is the head of the employment & reward practice for Pinsent Masons in APAC. He has a deep understanding of the intense pressures that employers face in the ever-changing Australian market.
 
Aaron specialises in matters involving complex and business-critical workforce management, disputes and investigations. He supports global and local employers to continuously address the evolving risks and shifting regulatory sands in all kinds of people-related legal matters.  Aaron is experienced in all areas of employment and safety law; and works with clients to develop and implement strategic human resources, employee, industrial relations and workplace management objectives. 
 
Clients regularly instruct Aaron in areas such as workforce restructuring, business protection (including restraints of trade enforcement), industrial relations, employee fraud, workplace and regulatory investigations (including whistleblowing), managing challenging employee issues, privacy, modern slavery, and workplace incident and crisis management response.  Aaron regularly represents and advises clients on highly sensitive, litigious matters and helps to defend employee claims and prevent litigation.

Naomi is a seasoned litigator with over 20 years of experience in complex commercial disputes, class actions, and regulatory investigations across sectors. She has acted on matters in the Federal Court, Supreme Courts of NSW and Victoria, and the UK’s Queen’s Bench Division.

With in-house experience at a global bank and a wealth management firm, Naomi trained as a legal project manager and now regularly integrates legal technology into project delivery to drive efficiency and innovation. She chairs the firm’s APAC Innovation & Best Delivery Committee and co-chairs the firm’s global Class Actions and Group Litigation Group.

Recognised by Legal 500 as a “Next Generation Partner” in 2023 and 2024, Naomi is valued for her technical acumen and courtroom capability. She holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, an LLM from UNSW, and degrees in Law (Hons) and Science from the University of Newcastle.

Representing corporations regionally and internationally, Rebecca’s clients include companies involved in the construction, infrastructure, finance, industrial, technology, transport, general trading, education, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors. She is a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the Law Society of England and Wales with rights of audience in the DIFC.

Rebecca's practice focuses on resolving international litigation and arbitration, and crisis management for clients exposed to internal and external investigations.

She manages complex cross-border arbitration, representing parties involved in arbitrations through the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC); the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA); the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC); and the International Court of Arbitration – International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Rebecca also advises public and private corporations on corporate governance and regulatory compliance. She counsels clients involved in regional and international criminal and quasi-criminal investigations and prosecutions. She also conducts fraud investigations, and files international criminal and civil proceedings to recover misappropriated assets worldwide. Rebecca advises companies on how to address and comply with anti–money laundering, anti-corruption, and bribery legislation. These include the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act 2010. She also advises clients on corporate governance, confidentiality, document retention, and employee and employer obligations.

Federal and local governments often seek Rebecca’s advice when drafting legislation across a range of legal issues. She routinely develops regulatory compliance manuals for corporate clients that cover a range of jurisdiction-specific legal obligations. She also conducts personalised training for the international boards addressing compliance, ESG and risk management strategies.

Actively involved in law reform in the region, Rebecca advises clients on Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) obligations and legal challenges in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC ). She has one of the only dedicated OSH practices in the Middle East and was appointed to the UAE’s Federal Ministry of Labour Technical Committee responsible for the development of the UAE building and construction sector’s OSH legislation.

Steven specialises in financial services and fintech regulation, with deep expertise in digital assets, regulatory investigations and cross-border disputes. He regularly advises major financial institutions, fintechs, digital currency exchanges, startups, and venture capital firms on navigating complex legal frameworks and emerging technologies. Steven combines 14 years of experience as a litigation specialist and startup founder, giving him a rare commercial perspective that spans law, entrepreneurship and innovation.
 
With a global practice background, Steven has advised on investigations and enforcement matters involving ASIC, DOJ, CFTC, MAS, HKMA, SFC and the FCA. His work spans fraud and insider trading investigations, market manipulation, cyber frauds and asset recovery, AML/CTF compliance, governance and directors’ duties. He has acted in litigation before the UK Supreme Court and across the Australian and Hong Kong courts and regularly advises on international arbitration and enforcement proceedings.
 
Steven trained at a Magic Circle law firm in London and has practised in Australia, Hong Kong, and the UK.
