Litigation and commercial dispute resolution lawyer Simon Johnson has left a global firm to join Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

Mr Johnson (pictured) has left Norton Rose Fulbright to join Corrs' litigation and dispute resolution practice in Sydney.

Specialising in the technology and financial services sectors, Mr Johnson has experience across a broad range of commercial litigation work for major corporates and financial institutions. He also has experience in running regulatory and investigations matters.

“Simon will be a key member of Corrs’ national litigation and dispute resolution group and will add depth to the outstanding and highly respected team,” Corrs partner and CEO John WH Denton AO said.

“His focus on the technology and financial services sectors will complement the work the group is undertaking."

Corrs Chambers Westgarth has made multiple appointments since the beginning of 2016, including partner Jillian Button, and special counsels Felicity Daley and Peter Anderson.

Corrs also promoted Airlie Fox, Andy Leadston and Brent Lillywhite to partnership.
