He has more than 20 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer in Australia and South Africa, where he ran his own firm.

Mr Browne is a business advisory specialist with extensive experience working in mergers and acquisitions, business structuring and commercial arrangements.

Mr Browne’s clients range from service providers in IT, aged care, financial services, hospitality and marketing to construction contractors, technology companies and manufacturers.

He has specialist knowledge of the aged care and caravan (parks and manufacturing) sectors, and was involved in the $660 million merger that created the Emeco Holdings mining equipment company. 

Mr Browne said he’s excited to be joining Macpherson Kelley and engaging with its broad range of practice areas so that all the legal needs of clients are served seamlessly within the firm.
