Transport for NSW advised on next phase of Circular Quay transformation

Global firm Herbert Smith Freehills is assisting TfNSW in the ongoing “evolution of Sydney’s original gateway”.

Deal: HSF is advising TfNSW on Sydney’s Circular Quay Renewal, which includes new ferry wharves, an upgraded train station, improved public spaces and a new tourism, cultural and retail offering.

Key players: The HSF is led by partners Nicholas Carney and Peter Briggs, with support from partners Julie Couch and Erin Wakelin, corporate special counsel Amalia Stone, and senior associates Joseph Varghese, Daniel Webster and Japonica Sheridan.

Deal significance: Speaking about the transformation, Mr Carney said: We are delighted to be advising Transport for NSW on the redevelopment of such an iconic location in Sydney.”
