Clayton Utz' Brisbane office raises over $11k in fundraiser walk
Over 40 partners and employees at the Brisbane office of BigLaw firm Clayton Utz have given back to the community in their latest fundraising efforts.

On 17 May 2022, the Clayton Utz team participated in a five-kilometre city and Brisbane waterfront loop for the LawRight Legal Walk 2022.

The funds raised from the walk have gone towards helping the continuation of the Magistrates Court service for self-represented litigants and financial counsellor services for people facing homelessness.
The Clayton Utz team won the spot for top fundraising law firm, having raised $11,466.50 (this included a $5,000 grant from the Clayton Utz Foundation).
LawRight is a long-time pro bono partner of Clayton Utz, which has participated in their annual Legal Walk since it began.
Partner of the Brisbane public sector team and Clayton Utz Foundation board member Majella Pollard spoke on the importance of holding such a fundraiser.
“Acting for low-income and vulnerable people who cannot obtain legal aid is at the heart of our own pro bono practice, so by supporting LawRight we’re helping people to access the justice system where they might not otherwise be able,” Ms Pollard said.
