Moray & Agnew is continuing to ramp up its Melbourne presence with the recent appointment of insurance specialists Michael Martin and Nigel Kemp.

Martin joins the firm as a partner, bringing to the firm more than 26 years' liability and professional indemnity experience. He has advised leading Australian insurers, prominent blue-chip corporations, several Victorian government departments and local government councils. He has also defended large and complex recovery action claims brought in the Victorian WorkCover Authority and Transport Accident Commission.

Kemp, who joins as a special counsel, has significant experience representing leading insureds and self-insured corporations across the manufacturing, telecommunications and government sectors. He specialises in public liability, WorkCover recovery and property damage recovery claims.

These latest hires closely follow the appointments of Mikaela Reynoldson, the former general counsel of OAMPS Insurance Brokers, and partner Richard Best, and his team of three, to the Melbourne office.
