The College of Law has this year recorded its highest enrolment figures to date. Reflecting a rising demand for post-graduate training of this nature amongst law students, the increase has delighted the College, Australia’s largest provider of professional legal training.
The College’s enrolment figures have risen by 21 per cent since 2002 across both full-time and part-time courses, with 32 per cent more students joining its online courses.
The College’s flexible course structure, the calibre of the curriculum and the increased demand for pre-admission legal training were the main factors which led to the larger intake, according to the College’s managing director Neville Carter. “This is a positive sign that many of today’s legal practitioners are choosing to further their careers via post graduate education,” he said.
