Blake Dawson has announced the appointment of 18 new partners, including 13 internal and five lateral appointments, bringing the firm's total partner headcount to 186.

The firm's new partners in Australia are Phil Breden, David McManus, Timothy Sackar, Graeme Tucker and Ross Zaurrini in Sydney; Gaelan Cooney, William Coulthard, Robert Lilburne, Antonella Pacitti and Peter Ward in Perth; Tanya Denning in Adelaide; Jane Ellis in Brisbane/Sydney; Jeff Lynn in Melbourne; and Gavin Scott in Brisbane.

In the firm's Asian offices, Blake Dawson also added Sean Prior in Jakarta, Damien Roberts in Tokyo, Michael Sheng in Shanghai and Atik Susanto in Jakarta, to the partnership.

Blake Dawson also appointed 59 senior associates and 12 special counsel across its Australian and Asian offices.
