Jac Phillips has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Macpherson Kelley advisory board as of this month.

Ms Phillips is an executive coach, an experienced creative and commercial marketer, and a champion for leadership, diversity, change management and good governance. Most recently, she led the marketing function for Australia, New Zealand and south Pacific at Visa, and prior to this, she led teams at Bank of Melbourne, ANZ Bank and IBM.

With more than 15 years of experience at the board level, Ms Phillips currently serves on the Food Revolution Group board, and previous roles include being on the boards of Good Cycles, the Skin & Cancer Foundation, and Fitted for Work.

Ms Phillips said she is delighted to have been appointed to the Macpherson Kelley Board, where at a governance level, she will support the vision, future growth and direction of the firm.

“I was particularly drawn to the people and culture focus at Macpherson Kelley,” she said.

“The strength of the brand reverberates through the firm’s commitment to client service and its internal values. I look forward to working with the team to unlock Macpherson Kelley’s future potential.”

Damian Paul, chairman of the board, noted that Ms Phillip’s unique expertise in brand and marketing would lend a fresh perspective to the board, whose current members all share backgrounds in professional services.

“Having a diversity of skill set and background on our Board just makes good business sense,” he said.

“I’m confident Jac’s contribution will help continue to forge our firm as a go-to for medium and large organisations.”
