M+K hires Truman Hoyle consultant
M+K Lawyers has boosted its corporate and commercial team with the appointment of Timothy Edwards, formerly a consultant at Truman Hoyle, as a principal

M+K Lawyers national managing director Damian Paul said the appointments come with the increased corporate and M&A activity in the mid-market space, which has occurred since Christmas.
Paul said the firm is expecting further growth in these areas as economic conditions improve.
Edwards has been involved in acquisitions, sales, mergers and restructures; business recoveries; and conducted complex litigation in the Supreme and Federal Courts.
M+K Lawyers’ newest recruit, Edwards was a foundation director of the St James Ethics Centre and remains a director and secretary of the board.
He said he was enthusiastic about being part of a fast growing law firm with an established presence along the east coast of Australia.
“I am looking forward to working with a broader network of colleagues,” he said.
“Many clients have interstate business and to be able to tap into the M+K network in Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart will be very useful.”
