In August 2012, John Coorey, a partner in the insurance group, was appointed chairman. Coorey has experience in professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ liability, commercial and aviation litigation.

Robyn Chalmers also joined the board as a non-executive director in August 2012. She was a partner at King & Wood Mallesons for 26 years, where she spent three years as chairman (from 2002 to 2005) and was a board member for eight years (from 1997 to 2005).

Two of the firm’s partners in the insurance group, Matthew Pokarier and Ben Dubé, joined the board on 1 September 2012.
