Corporate and commercial partner David Nolan (pictured) also brought over with him senior associate Holly Taylor.

Commenting on the appointments, Kemp Strang managing partner Michael Joseph said: “We are delighted to have a tried and tested corporate and commercial team of the calibre of David and Holly join the firm. Kemp Strang is on a growth trajectory and hires of this nature will help bolster our existing team and add firepower to our existing and new clients.

“David is recognised for his proactive and commercial approach to complex transactions and has valuable relationships in the advisory and regulatory community. He brings to the table over 16 years’ experience advising Australian and international clients on all aspects of commercial law.”

He added: “Holly advises public, private and government clients across a broad range of industries on corporate and commercial matters.”

Nolan said: “I am very excited to join Kemp Strang. It is one of Sydney's most experienced law firms and a trusted partner to a number of significant clients, including the major banks. I believe the firm is an ideal fit for my clients and the corporate and commercial practice is well positioned for growth.”

The pair started at Kemp Strang this week.

Last month, highly-regarded financial services lawyer Vicki Grey joined the single-office firm after leaving the partnership of Gadens.
