James Lofting (pictured) is the newest partner in the firm’s planning, environment and government practice in Melbourne. He is joined by commercial partners Justin Pasa and David Woodford.

Banking and finance specialist Katherine Shann has joined the partnership in Brisbane.

HWL Ebsworth also promoted Andrew Crocker, Anita Wear, Kathy Gray, Katrina Pagey, Ryan Sanders, Veena Bedekar and Veronica Mignone to special counsel across its Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Canberra and Adelaide offices.

Managing partner Juan Martinez congratulated the new partners, special counsel and senior associates.

The announcement follows HWL’s largest ever round of promotions, which took place earlier this year.
