Deal: Massons has advised Chifley Freehold Limited on its sale of the freehold title of Sydney CBD’s Chifley Plaza & Tower.

Deal significance: Chifley Plaza & Tower at 2 Chifley Square is one of Sydney’s most prestigious office buildings, according to Massons, which described it as arguably the best CBD site in Australia with its north-east views over Sydney Harbour.
The 6,438 square metre freehold site accommodates a 94.6-year leasehold for Chifley Tower.
The sale, settled last month from vendor Chifley Freehold Limited to Charter Hall Prime Office Fund, gives Charter Hall Prime Office Fund a 100 per cent interest in the freehold title.
