This news followed the recent appointment of Bianca Quan as managing partner, leading the firm’s new Melbourne office.
Most recently a partner at Kardos Scanlan, Yeung brings with him more than 17 years of experience in banking and finance with a focus on complex finance transactions, both domestically and internationally. He is joined by Lee, who was formerly a banking and finance lawyer at Kardos Scanlan.
“Summer Lawyers has a very well-established platform in the banking space. I am excited about the opportunities ahead, working with both existing and new clients,” Yeung said.
Speaking about the new appointments, Summer Lawyers managing principal Paul Reese said that these additions were part of a larger growth plan for the firm.
“Chun Wing adds significant capabilities to our firm and we are very excited about [his] arrival,” he said.
“The addition is part of Summer Lawyers’ concerted growth plans in the short to medium term, so watch this space for more developments shortly.”
