Michael Hollingdale has left a large international firm to join HWL Ebsworth Lawyers in Perth.

Mr Hollingdale left Allens, where he had been a partner since 2004, to be a part of the infrastructure and major projects team at HWL Ebsworth.

Prior to spending 11 years at Allens, Mr Hollingdale established and operated Hollingdales, a boutique construction law firm in Perth.

With expertise in major infrastructure projects in the energy, resources and government sectors, Mr Hollingdale can offer clients procurement strategy and negotiations, mine development and supply contracts, consultancy agreements, construction and development contracts, operation and maintenance agreements, alliance contracting and PPPs.

HWL Ebsworth managing partner Juan Martinez said: “Welcoming Michael to the team further enhances our offering in the infrastructure sector, which has been one of the firm’s strongest growth sectors over the last 12 months.”

HWL Ebsworth has recently appointed former Ashurst special counsel Meredith Gibbs as a climate law specialist in its Melbourne office.

Former Finlaysons senior associate Damien Foulis also recently joined HWL Ebsworth as a partner in their Adelaide office, while former Clayton Utz partner Michael Tuckfield was appointed to HWL Ebsworth’s Melbourne infrastructure and major projects team in July.
