Welcome from Lawyers Weekly
Welcome to the 24th annual Australian Law Awards!
On behalf of the Lawyers Weekly team, and all our event partners, I would like to thank you for attending the 2025 Australian Law Awards – the premier awards program for legal professionals right across the country.
Tonight, we celebrate those who have made a substantial impact in legal roles of all stripes, recognising the industry’s best and brightest across all levels, and in businesses, organisations, and government departments of different sizes, and with expertise of all varieties. A huge congratulations to all the finalists, and eventual winners.
As we mark the 24th year of the Australian Law Awards, I encourage you to reflect on the evolution of legal professionals in Australia (the pace of change for which has dramatically hastened in recent years), and celebrate your contribution to it. Everyone here tonight has had to navigate myriad professional challenges, market trends, and workplace changes – which is, in and of itself, is a laudable feat worthy of recognition.
Kick back, relax and enjoy the evening! You've earned it.
Sincerely,
Jerome Doraisamy
