So They Can is an international non-profit organisation that works with vulnerable communities and their governments in Kenya and Tanzania to educate and empower children and their families out of poverty.

Over a 7-10 year development cycle, So They Can partners with individual communities to understand their needs and implement education and community development projects that will best support them. Throughout the cycle, they develop relationships and ensure transfer of knowledge and management skills to ensure the sustainability of the projects. This enables So They Can to shift into a governance role, expanding their focus and core resources to help other vulnerable communities.

Invictus Australia encourages veterans and their families to connect and engage with their communities through sport. We bring together sporting, community and veteran organisations to collaborate and break down the barriers to sport participation for veterans and their families. We promote the physical, social and emotional benefits of sport for all, and shine a light on the unique needs of younger veterans, particularly the challenges associated with transitioning from military to civilian life.

Formally known as Veteran Sport Australia (VSA), Invictus Australia was launched at the conclusion of the Invictus Games Sydney 2018.

The Games acknowledged the sacrifices made by defence service personnel and pledged continuing support to veterans and their families. Invictus Australia is the embodiment of the promise that the Games would be more than just a one-off event.

Invictus means unconquered.
