A Brisbane law firm's new marketing director will have to work to develop what comes out its recent merger with another firm.

COOPER Grace Ward’s new marketing director will have to work to assess and help the law firm develop what comes out its recent merger with another firm.

Emma Fredericks takes the helm as the new business development director this week.

Fredericks will help generate revenue growth, and elevate the firm’s market position within the legal services market.

The firm’s recent merger with Bain Gasteen will also give the new recruit some work, and she will be required to “unify” opportunities that come out of that, the firm said today.

Her role gives the partner group dedicated support concentrating purely on market facing activities with businesses, the firm said.

Fredericks has previously specialised in corporate finance and audit and assurance business services. Her work extended to acquisition due diligence, capital raisings, corporate structuring, financial modelling, information memorandums and prospectus documentation.
