LAW firm HWL Ebsworth has recruited former Rigby Cooke partner Peter Dreher to its Melbourne infrastructure, energy and major projects practice as partner. 

The wind energy expert has been taken on in a bid to grow the practice, said managing partner Juan Martinez. 

“This is further support that the proposition we offer to the market recognised by clients and new partners who have decided to join this firm," Martinez said. 

HWL Ebsworth Lawyers is a firm with more than 550 people including 120 partners in Melbourne, Sydney, Norwest and Brisbane offices. 

Dreher brings a broad client base with him, the firm said. The lawyer has practiced in England and Germany, and is admitted to practise in Australia, England and Wales. His international experience in industries including energy, technology and property is a bonus for the firm, it said.
