A partner, lawyer and legal assistant have joined the workplace relations team at Rigby Cooke Lawyers from a rival Melbourne firm.

Partner Rob Jackson (pictured), lawyer Stephanie Burn and legal assistant Monika Nosal have left Aitken Partners to join Rigby Cooke Lawyers, bringing the firm's workplace relations team to a total of nine.

The team of three have experience in covering industrial law, employment law, OH&S and corporate migration law, and are former colleagues of Rigby Cooke Lawyers partners David McLaughlin and Sam Eichenbaum.

Mr Jackson said: “Having previously worked with workplace relations partners David McLaughlin and Sam Eichenbaum, our complementary areas of expertise and work styles will make it an easy transition to hit the ground running.”

Rigby Cooke Lawyers' executive chairman Bill Karvela said: “Rigby Cooke now has an exceptional workplace relations team on board for this extremely important and growing practice area.”

Earlier this year Rigby Cooke Lawyers appointed James Donoghue as a partner, but recently lost partner Radhika Kanhai to Cornwall Stodart.
