Mr Siva (pictured), who specialises in complex disputes and restructuring and insolvency, will join the firm's Melbourne team.

He has acted for clients in general commercial disputes, tortious claims, and property and infrastructure-related disputes.

He has a particular expertise in restructuring and insolvency, and regularly advises financiers, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders in all aspects of administrations, liquidations, receiverships and bankruptcies.

Mr Siva also regularly acts for government and has advised Commonwealth, state and territory as well as local government clients on a range of administrative law, contractual and other disputes.

The Melbourne office has had several new additions in recent months, with former Ashurst special counsel Meredith Gibbs and former Clayton Utz partner Michael Tuckfield joining the firm.

Partner Michael Hollingdale recently left Allens to join HWL Ebsworth in Perth, while former Finlaysons senior associate Damien Foulis also recently joined HWL Ebsworth as a partner in their Adelaide office.
