Sarah Harrison has left King & Wood Mallesons for HWL’s Perth office.

Ms Harrison specialises in crisis management, health and safety law and regulatory investigations, according to a statement from HWL.

Ms Harrison is a lead safety auditor, having completed the course used by investigators of the Western Australian Department of Mines and Petroleum, and a lead ICAM investigator.

HWL Ebsworth managing partner Juan Martinez said that health and safety were “critical issues for many of our clients.”

The firm’s Perth office launched in 2013 and now comprises 13 partners and 39 other legal staff.

This is the second major hire for the Perth office in the past six weeks, since infrastructure partner Michael Hollingdale joined from Allens.
