Creevey Russell Lawyers has appointed a new partner who has spent the last five years with HWL Ebsworth.

Andrew Evans (pictured) has expertise in commercial litigation, insolvency, partnership disputes, corporation’s law, governance and property law disputes.

He has also practised as a barrister at the Queensland Bar in all jurisdictions.

“I understand that litigation is always an unwelcome burden on any business and that managing the process is every bit as important to the client as the final result,” Mr Evans said.

Creevey Russell Lawyers principal Dan Creevey said: “While Andrew has acted for some of Australia’s biggest companies, he is just as comfortable taking on matters for small business owners and private individuals.”

He continued: “He believes that a good lawyer does not just possess great legal acumen but also an ability to understand their clients’ needs and imperatives, which should always guide the outcome of any dispute.”

While HWL Ebsworth may have lost Mr Evans, the firm recently appointed Sarah Harrison and Michael Hollingdale in its Perth office and Polat Siva in its Melbourne office.
