Minter Ellison promotes 24 lawyers

Minter Ellison has announced the promotion of nine lawyers to special counsel and 15 to senior associates.

The promotions are across Minter Ellison’s offices and teams, and are effective as of 1 January.

Kathryn Finlayson and Amy Southwell have been promoted to special counsel in the firm’s dispute resolution team, while Gus Skavronskas and Emma Colantonio have been promoted to senior associates.

In the firm's financial institutions group, Simon Oh has been promoted to special counsel and Jonathan Maher and Liron Israeli to senior associates.

In the HR and industrial relations team, Deanna McMaster has been promoted to special counsel, while Phi Vo and Chloe Conway have been promoted to senior associates.

Megan Fairweather and Julian Pinder have both been promoted to special counsel in the insurance and corporate risk team, while Cassandra Heilbronn and Angus Macaskill have been promoted to senior associates.

Ratha Nabanidham has been promoted to M&A special counsel, and Laura Glenn and Carley Scanlan to M&A senior associates.

In the real estate environment and planning team, Bee Ang has been promoted to special counsel, and Ben Blackaby, Rob Marshall and Vicky Anastasiadis promoted to senior associates.

Matthew Missaghi has been promoted to special counsel in the tax group, while Jessica Nesbit was promoted to senior associate in the projects infrastructure and construction team and Jessica Newman to senior associate in the commercial and regulatory team.
