He is a dual-qualified lawyer in Malaysia and Australia with experience in property development projects.

He has previously advised south-east Asian clients, including inbound property investors and developers into Australia, as well as major Australian and Asian corporations seeking to invest in the Asia-Pacific region and the UK market.

DLA Piper managing partner in Australia, John Weber, said Mr Chong’s expertise was “ a perfect fit” for the firm.
