Hall & Wilcox adds banking partner

Former Minter Ellison senior associate Nick Slack has joined Hall & Wilcox’s national banking practice as a partner.

Former Minter Ellison senior associate Nick Slack has joined Hall & Wilcox’s national banking practice as a partner.

Mr Slack has experience in corporate finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance and general finance across financial services, property, technology, resources, healthcare, tourism and agribusiness.

Prior to working at Minter Ellison, Mr Slack was sole Australian legal counsel for Fortress Investment Group, a senior associate in banking at Baker & McKenzie and an associate at Clifford Chance.

He will be based in Hall & Wilcox’s Sydney office.

“Nick brings a wealth of experience in local and international banking, and has a background in some key industries for us, including financial services and property,” said Tony Macvean, managing partner of Hall & Wilcox.

Hall & Wilcox recently opened a new Canberra office, led by a former Sparke Helmore partner and several of his team members.
