Three lawyers have quit Norton Rose Fulbright to join a rival international firm.

Clyde & Co recently added a team of two senior associates, Darryl Smith and Steven Donley, and one associate, Erica Leaman (pictured), from NRF to its Melbourne office.

The team follows the departure of partner Marcus O'Brien from NRF last year, who moved to Clyde & Co in November.

Associate Casey Williamson from Maddens Lawyers has also joined the team.

Mr Smith acts for insurers and reinsurers in contentious and non-contentious matters, including defending claims arising from financial lines products and class action proceedings. He also provides regulatory and indemnity advice.

Mr Donley has experience in complex disputes in the D&O, financial institutions, professional indemnity, construction all risks and ISR areas. He has practised in Australia, Canada and Ireland.

Clyde & Co opened in Australia in September 2012 with offices in Sydney and Perth. Since then it has grown to four offices and more than 150 staff across the country.

NRF also recently lost M&A head Con Boulougouris to Minter Ellison.
