Michael Milton has been appointed as the new special counsel for Wotton + Kearney, moving across from his special counsel role at defunct firm Lee & Lyons.
Mr Milton has more than 10 years’ experience in insurance litigation and claims. He specialises in construction-related professional indemnity and liability disputes, including major claims and providing policy advice.

He has previously worked with law firm Kennedys in London and Sydney, and spent more than year working as a senior associate for Colin Biggers & Paisley.
Mr Milton joined the Wotton + Kearney Sydney office in April. Lee & Lyons ceased trading in February this year.
Wotton + Kearney welcomed senior associate Scott Macoun to its Brisbane office in April.
In March Claire MacMillan, a senior associate with Colon Biggers & Paisley, also joined the firm, stepping into the role of special counsel.
