SYDNEY AND Melbourne insurance firm Wotton + Kearney has lured across two former partners and a senior associate from Ebsworth & Ebsworth Lawyers.

Catherine Osborne joins the firm’s Sydney office as a partner with 18 years experience in insurance law. She has been involved in some of the largest and most sensitive cases involving ASIC and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority in the past years. She also acted for reinsurance interests throughout the HIH Royal Commission and has represented clients in a range of other inquiries, including ASIC and ASX inquiries and Royal and Special Commissions.
Her areas of expertise include professional indemnity, insurance and reinsurance, commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
Joining as a special counsel, Matthew Foglia’s areas of expertise include policy interpretation and drafting, dispute resolution, professional indemnity, public and products liability and reinsurance. He has 15 years experience providing legal services to the global insurance and reinsurance industry, which includes working as a partner at specialist New York insurance and reinsurance firm Mendes & Mount LLP.
Also moving across to the firm with Osborne and Foglia is senior associate Clare Branch.
