BRISBANE AND Sydney firm ClarkeKann Lawyers has appointed Shane Williamson as a partner in the firm’s litigation and insolvency practice.

Williamson, who has joined the firm’s Brisbane office, handles a wide variety of contentious matters including trade practices disputes, authorisations and notifications for anti-competitive conduct, finance and property litigation including retail and commercial leasing disputes and contractual disputes.
He also has extensive experience in Corporations Act litigation, including board spills, proxy fights, and disputes concerning directors’ duties and shareholder rights. He has acted for clients from a broad range of industry groups including the construction, government, franchising, import/export, information technology, insurance, manufacturing, primary industries, professional services, resources, retail and transport sectors.
Williamson’s previous experience includes working in London for international firm Davis Arnold Cooper, for Brisbane firm McCullough Robertson and most recently, for Deacons.
