NEW ZEALAND firm Minter Ellison Rudd Watts has appointed two new senior lawyers to its Wellington employment team, both moving to the firm from the UK.

Greg Cain has more than 10 years’ experience as an employment lawyer and litigator and will join the firm as a partner once New Zealand Law Society requirements are met. Cain was previously a partner at Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP in London, and has also previously worked in-house, for other law firms and for public authorities in the UK and New Zealand.

Steve Wragg joins the firm from Herbert Smith LLP in London, where he acted for many leading UK and international companies. Wragg specialises in all areas of employment law including personal grievances, restructuring, corporate governance issues, employment agreements and restraints of trade. He is currently completing Law Society requirements for admission to the New Zealand Bar.
