QUEENSLAND FIRM McInnes Wilson Lawyers has announced the admission of three new solicitors, Amelia Becker, Trenton Schreurs, and Jason Hunt, to the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Becker joined the firm in November 2006 while completing the final stages of her practical legal training. Working as a solicitor in the firm’s estate administration and succession law team, Becker hopes to combine her rural background and legal training by specialising in rural succession planning.

Schreurs joined the firm in September 2004 as a part-time law clerk while studying, and began his trainee solicitorship in November 2005. He specialises in insurance and plaintiff litigation, dispute resolution, and administrative law, particularly in privacy rights and obligations.

After gaining a bachelor of laws from the Queensland University of Technology, Hunt began as an articled clerk at the firm in January 2005.
