Biggs & Biggs Lawyers has appointed Peter Jolly as managing partner following the decision by Greg Moroney to step down after many years in the role for the Brisbane firm.
Jolly has over 20 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer, specialising in the areas of commercial, corporate and property law. The range of clients he advises includes public companies and small to medium businesses. Much of his advice involves informing companies of their obligations under the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules, acting in the sale and acquisition of companies and cooperatives, providing advice and negotiation assistance to companies undertaking share floats, acting in the sale and purchase of commercial properties and businesses, and undertaking pre-float and pre-purchase due diligence inquiries.
It is expected Jolly will continue in his role as head of the firm’s commercial group. He is also a member of the Queensland Law Society Business Law Specialist Accreditation Committee.
