Deacons has appointed three new partners. Linda Rowley (property, environment and planning, Perth) is experienced in the full spectrum of planning, heritage and environment law with a particular focus on town planning. Rowley was previously at McLeods. Jenni Hill (commercial dispute resolution, Perth) has provided extensive advice on and acted in a broad range of corporate and commercial litigation matters and company disputes and represented clients in both the Federal and Supreme Courts. Hill was formerly a partner at Bennett & Co for four years. Janean Richards (commercial dispute resolution, Canberra) has considerable Commonwealth Government experience, particularly in administrative law, privacy, freedom of information, workers compensation and occupational health and safety.

Norman Waterhouse Lawyers has appointed Michael Ryan to its Adelaide office. He joins the firm as a partner in the property, infrastructure and development team. Ryan was previously at Kelly & Co, where he has been a partner in the firm’s mortgage and property industry group since 2001. He specialises in a wide range of commercial property and finance transactions.
