TLlawyers has appointed Simon Chadwick as partner leading the team in their new Sydney office. Chadwick was formerly a partner of Vandervords based in Sydney. He practises in insurance defence and specialises in CTP and public liability.

MacDonnells Solicitors has recently expanded its Brisbane team with the appointment of solicitor Christie Groves and articled clerk Miriam Barber. Groves has recently been admitted as a solicitor and has joined MacDonnells’ indigenous law team. Barber has joined MacDonnells’ commercial litigation team.

Don Mazzone has joined Clayton Utz as a partner with the property, planning and environment practice in Melbourne. The firm said Mazzone practises extensively in all aspects of commercial property law and planning and environment law, and is a recognised leader in property and government work. He was formerly a partner at Andersen Legal.

Cowley Hearne Lawyers has appointed Jill Milburn as a principal with the firm. Milburn has practised as a commercial lawyer for 18 years and specialises in banking and finance and financial services law. The firm said she has a diverse background, which includes working for an international oil and gas company and two national law firms prior to joining Cowley Hearne Lawyers.

Commercial litigation specialist Alan Foster has joined Mario Merlo and his team at MMR Legal. Foster was a founding partner of the former Foster Hart Lawyers.

Simon Heath has joined Logie-Smith Lanyon as a partner in the firm’s litigation division. He was previously a partner at Anderson Rice.
