Jackson McDonald has announced the appointment of Julius Skinner as a consultant with the firm’s local government team. Formerly a partner at McLeods, Skinner is experienced in acting for local government clients and advising on all aspects of local government administration, town planning and development, environment and health, and enforcement issues. He is also part of the firm’s in-house advocacy team.

Blake Dawson Waldron has appointed Bernard Edmond as senior associate with the firm’s financial services practice in Sydney. Prior to joining Blakes, Edmond worked with DLA in London. He has broad ranging project finance experience with expertise in the infrastructure and transport sectors.

TressCox has announced the appointment of Jeremy Prentice as partner with the firm’s projects team. Prentice rejoined TressCox earlier this month as a PPP projects and infrastructure specialist after more than three years at Masons (now Pinsent Masons), one of the UK's premier projects firms. While in the UK, he worked on the preparation and negotiation of UK and international PPP/PFI concessions and their associated financing and securitisation arrangements.

He has over 12 years experience in providing commercially focused and cost effective advice to clients in building, engineering and infrastructure.
