Roberto Clemente has joined Wallmans Lawyers’ personal injury team as a senior associate. Previously at Minter Ellison, Wallmans said he has considerable experience in both sides of injury law having acted for plaintiffs as well as insurers. Clemente now specialises in personal injury litigation including motor vehicle accidents, WorkCover and public liability. Wallmans has also appointed Jane Fox as a solicitor in its family law section and Chris Katsoulas has been promoted to senior associate. Katsoulas also works in injury law and has been at Wallmans since 1999.

Surasak Vajasit and Stephen Bennett, currently partners in the Bangkok office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, will bring a team of lawyers with them when they join Coudert Brothers’ Bangkok office on 1 November. Vajasit’s practice areas include finance, financial restructuring and insolvency and dispute resolution/arbitration. Bennett’s practice covers project finance and infrastructure, capital markets and securities and M&A.

Bridget Grant has been appointed as a partner at Watson Mangioni. Her core areas of expertise are fund raising and M&A. Grant has been with the firm since 2000 and prior to that worked in NZ and the UK.
