The team will be lead by partner Kerrin Anderson, who brings to Hynes more than 14 years' experience as a commercial and intellectual property lawyer. She has previously held positions in private practice as well as in-house at the University of Queensland.

Anderson is joined by special counsel Tania Kearsley and solicitor Joanne Redburn. Kearsley has also worked both in private practice and in-house at the University of Queensland. She has a particular interest in bioethics and the interaction between the law and bioethics as it impacts on scientific endeavors.

Redburn has extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, having a PhD in biotechnology and experience working for a large pharmaceutical company. She has a particular interest in the intellectual property protection involving commercial and research ventures.
