Coady brings to Maddocks nearly 18 years' experience practising in telecommunications, regulatory work and commercial matters relating to intellectual property.
For the last 10 years he has practiced extensively in the telecommunications field, which has included acting as the primary legal advisor to Macquarie Telecom, a role he will continue with Maddocks. Other clients have included Vodaphone, iiNet, Optus, People Telecom and Sri Lanka Telecom.
In the IP sphere he has acted for clients in a broad range of industries, including PBL Media, Adstream Holdings, AGL, NRMA, Pearson Education, Westpac and Cement Australia.
