Drake, who joins the firm as a partner in the Sydney office, joined Macquarie Bank in 1999 and worked for ten years as a senior corporate finance infrastructure advisor. Prior to Macquarie, he was a partner with Baker & McKenzie in the project finance team for 18 years, working in Sydney, London and Singapore, and he also previously worked with Magic Circle firm Clifford Chance in London.

Drake has extensive experience leading deals in green-field infrastructure projects, project financings and M&A transactions. He has particular expertise in water and waste infrastructure projects, telecommunications, energy, transportation, resources and the aged care industry.
