Rakoczy's move to the firm's Perth office closely follows that of partner and fellow litigation specialist Mark van Brakel, whom she worked with at Clayton Utz for five years.

Rakoczy is experienced in conducting litigation for large oil and gas and mining clients, contractual disputes and torts, insurance litigation, administrative law, and statutory and regulatory compliance in the oil and gas and mining sectors.

As well as her litigation expertise, Rakoczy is well known for her significant work in the community. She is the pro bono lawyer for the Australian Employment Covenant (AEC), an initiative aimed at securing 50,000 sustainable jobs for Indigenous Australians. She has been heavily involved in drafting the AEC and associated legal documents as well as providing ongoing legal advice.

Last year, Rakoczy was named the "Australian Young Lawyer of the Year" by the Law Council of Australia, as well as the "WA Young Lawyer of the Year" by the Law Society of Western Australia.
