Born and trained in Newcastle, Sirasch has significant experience in the region and has worked with a range of clients including resource companies, infrastructure providers, individual and national developers, small and large corporations, local councils and other government authorities.

"Land access and acquisition continue to be key issues for project proponents, including resources companies," Sirasch said. "Major infrastructure projects, either in planning or in construction delivery, have property-related issues which are crucial to their successful execution.

"Developers are also looking forward to growth in new projects in 2010 as the local economy recovers and the need to address housing shortages returns to the state agenda," she said.

Sirasch's appointment follows that of resources, planning and environment lawyers, Brendan Tobin and Ross Mackay, who also joined the Newcastle office.
