LAW firms Addisons and Allens Arthur Robinson have advised on the initial public offering and listing on the ASX of Bega Cheese.

The Bega Cheese group, operating through Bega Cheese Limited and its controlling interest in Tatura Milk Industries, manufactures and processes a range of dairy products.

Addisons Lawyers was the company's sole legal adviser on the deal.

Through the IPO, Bega Cheese issued 18.35 million shares to raise $35 million.

Allens advised sole lead manager CBA Equities in relation to the IPO and listing.

The company commenced trading on 19 August this year, under the ticker BGA, and had a market capitalisation of approximately $254 million at listing.

Allens partner Vijay Cugati led the team advising CBA Equities on the transaction.

"We have an excellent working relationship with CBA Equities and it was a pleasure to work with the team to assist them in bringing Bega Cheese to market," Cugati said.

Addisons partner David Ferguson and senior associate Kristy Dixon most recently advised the client on its 15 per cent investment in Warrnambool Cheese and Butter Company.
